Preston A. Waldrop Jr., CAIA

Preston serves as a Regional Director for Hatteras. Prior to joining the team, Preston was a multi-line insurance agent with North Carolina Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company in Asheville, NC. Previously, Preston held sales positions at Zimmer Biomet (formerly Zimmer Mid-Atlantic), Verizon Wireless, and D&S Life Agency, Inc where his primary responsibilities were new business development and account management. Preston earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from High Point University and earned his designation as a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) in 2022. Preston also holds his Series 7 and Series 66 designations.

Preston plays guitar and was the lead singer and rhythm guitar player for a performing band for several years after graduating from HPU.
